Terms of Service

1. The service

Markolis provides quantitative market-structure analytics, scenario descriptions and macro context through a web terminal and API (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Not investment advice

Markolis is an educational and informational publication. Nothing in the Service is investment, trading, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. Outputs are descriptive scenarios derived from historical and snapshot data. We do not know your objectives, finances or risk tolerance and do not provide personalised advice. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

3. Risk disclosure

Trading leveraged products such as foreign exchange, CFDs, futures, metals and crypto-assets involves a high level of risk and may result in the loss of more than your initial deposit. Past performance and model outputs do not guarantee future results. Models can be wrong, data can be delayed, incomplete or stale, and market conditions can change without warning. Do not trade money you cannot afford to lose.

4. Data and availability

Analytics are generated from periodically refreshed snapshots, not a real-time market data feed. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, timeliness or uninterrupted availability, and may change or withdraw features at any time.

5. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share accounts, scrape or resell the Service, attempt to bypass usage limits, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or annually, in US dollars via Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Cancel any time from Profile → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.
• Paid plans include fair-use query limits (currently up to 300 questions per day) to protect service quality.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
• Taxes may be added where required.

7. Refunds

If you are not satisfied, email us within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund. Outside that window, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Renewal charges can be avoided by cancelling before the renewal date.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its models and content are owned by Markolis and protected by law. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own analysis. You may quote short excerpts with attribution.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Markolis is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any trading or investment loss arising from use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination and changes

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. We may update these terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Governing law and venue are determined by the operator's place of establishment.
